TRELLIS.2 Online: What It Is and Where to Try It
TRELLIS.2 is Microsoft's open-source image-to-3D project. To try it online, visit Microsoft's official Hugging Face Space, linked below. This page explains the project and points to that separate demo.

What is TRELLIS.2?
The official Microsoft GitHub README describes a model that turns an image into a textured 3D asset, with material attributes such as roughness, metallic appearance and opacity. Microsoft releases the model and code under the MIT license; some dependencies have separate terms. checked 2026-11-01

Where to try TRELLIS.2 online
Open Microsoft's official TRELLIS.2 Hugging Face Space. This is the public demo operated under Microsoft's Hugging Face account, separate from AI 3D Gen. Follow the instructions shown there and review its current availability and access conditions. checked 2026-11-01
Use a reference you have permission to upload and read the Space's data notice before sharing an image. Opening that external demo takes you to another service; our local plan form does not connect to it or reserve access.
What does a local installation require?
The official README prerequisites specify an NVIDIA GPU with at least 24 GB of memory. Microsoft says the code has been verified on A100 and H100 GPUs and has been evaluated only on Linux. Review the README's software and dependency instructions before attempting installation. checked 2026-11-01
